I saw your post about the fold out platform under the back seat. Do you still have one available? I'd like to replace my storage bin with the platform. I'm in San Antonio. email address is sbb@satx.rr.com

    thanks,
    steve

    Steve,
I am really sorry that I have not replied, I assumed I would have received a Email when you did. I had decided to shelve the work until after the holidays, now that the holidays are over I am thinking about it again. The bedplate is leaking at the block but I am afraid of them breaking the A/C system open and not getting it leak free when they put it back together. I did convey to them about doing some of the additional items you had done but they didn't seem to understand. I am going to go back to your original post and make a list. Did they break your A/C system and if they did has it been fine?
    Thanks
    Mike

    Hello,
I found your post searching around on bedplate leaks. I have a 2005 Excursion that they concluded had a bedplate leak and the repair would be covered under the extended warranty. It has only 27,00 miles on it, it is more or less a garage queen. I am pretty leary of them pulling it apart and having to open the A/C system. Could you update me on how yours is doing? I am afraid of them creating new problems that I will get stuck with after the extended warranty expires in July of next year.
    Thanks
    Mike
