Thanks for repping me [re: wiper arm removal], Gary. It is the little things which I can help with and leave the big jobs to the more knowledgeable members.

Jeff - $2000 should buy a fairly decent 80 - 86 truck with a good engine and that drives well. I recently sold an 82 for $2500 with a new engine and new sector box. The same truck with a used engine and sector box should be available for $2000.

As for an engine, I'd look for the 300 six. They are very strong, run forever, and get better mpg than any of the V8's.

Hi Gary I have a quick question for you...I have $2000 to spend on a truck to use for my new landscape company. Do you have any suggestions as to a good year or engine that might be better than others for that kind of money? I know it isn't much, but it's all the insurance company would give me after my car got all buggered up Thanks, Gary. Best wishes,
    Jeff Cherry
