New to site,just bought a 1966 F100 last Sat.,has had only two owners,the guy I bought it from(second owner)was going to restore it but never got around to it so its been sitting untouched for the past 5 yrs along side a ally,before that it was sitting for about 10 yrs on a farm north of Clinton,Il. It was bought new by this Ol'Farmer(young then)from the dealership and never left the area until he passed about 5 yrs ago.
Not in to bad of shape,a couple rust spots(tailgate,front driver side quarter infront of door,driver side floor board)the guy who sold it to me said the motor is original.
The VIN F10AK752333 indicates it came with a V-6 along with the hood badge for a V-6 but there is a V-8 352 in her,the ID tag on the motor indicates that it was made in the same time frame as the production number of the VIN ????

Could it be possible that the factory put the wrong motor in it
