    here is some advice for you if you want to build a 351W you can use one & put a 400 crank in it with the nose turned down to match the 351W & use 302 rods & just have it balences & you have a 400 small block CHEEP! also look for a 3 speed manual overdrive alot of people are confusing them with top loader 4 speeds but the OD ones have a buldge near the botom on the right side at the front & were used in late 70s early 80 6 & small V8 van's & 1/2 tons & if your looking for some serious economy use gears that are low 300s or high 200s & the 6 cyl OD trans my 57 with the 400 small block with the OD trans & 273 locker gears gets 24 MPG & will smoke the tires through the first 3 gears
