No warranty work at all. Cash on the barrel head. Unit is used. 2010 Montana. Just looking for an honest, capable mechanic. I have a trustworthy mechanic for my vehicles, maybe I can get him to work on Monty as well. Thanks for the info. I may be in touch if and when I need something worked on.

Tried retirement for about three weeks over a decade ago, too boring. As I approach age 70 this year, I find my body has a harder time dealing with the wear and tear. I doubt I will quit completely, but my wife wants us to use our fiver more and work for others less. The problem you have is, if your fiver is new, no one want warranty work (not even dealers really, but they are stuck with it).

For mobile work, one of my competitors is capable, but dishonest and the rest have varying skill depending on what needs work. I have done Crowder's mobile work for years, though they very seldom refer out unless someone is stuck with a new purchase. I do all Roger's RV work in Greeneville and have for over ten years, as well a couple of other small dealers.

You can always text me if you need something, but again, it can't be warranty work. Warranty work is a no pay proposition.

Congratulations on slowing down/retirement? Anyone you recommend in this area to work on rv's? We bought our TT at Tom Johnson and always went across the mountain to have it serviced. Traded it in at Crowders in JC for our fiver. I can do light maintenance/repair but need help with heavier jobs. Or would just rather pay someone else to do it. If rv dealers are like car dealerships I don't trust them do work on my vehicles. I guess I'm just fishing for alternative mechanic options. Recommendations and word of mouth go a long way in the repair world. Thanks

Based out of Bristol since 1999, though age is catching up with me and this likely will be my last year.

Did I read somewhere you were from Bristol? or somewhere around the tri-cities in East Tennessee? We moved from Johnson City to Telford recently. Do you do mobile RV repair? Just wondering. Never hurts to have a good contact like that. Thanks...

I represent Titan Brake Systems and from your posts it appears you are a mobile RV Tech?
Are you interested in doing some Disc brake conversions?

You know it might have something to do with the fact that we are moving the threads around. I am sure you have noticed.

So the old folder is renamed temporary.

Thanks for the heads up. Would the same apply for all Forest River units? They seem to be on the lower end of the price range.
