As for the lights you refer to they are called Bumper Markers or Bumper marker lights.They are expensive.. but I rigged mine up so they blink with my turn signals.
They can be hard to find as most places only fit them to new trucks.... but here is a close similar set. they fit 98-04 f350-550. So they should work on your truck.
