How do I get help on this website, just signed up for the free deal. I have a 69 ford f100 4.9 and Its ran like crap since I got it. 8 miles to the gallon and I have replaced almost everything. Compression is 160 carb is a carter yf I believe and off a 79 I guess what should I do to stop it from running choppy and how does the dual vacuum work on that?

Hey, how are you? Im Trent. We talked about that 83' 300 six motor you have, and you talked to me about what might be wrong with my truck. You and I both came up with the idea the the timing chain was bad. Well, I took it apart, and indeed it was bad. A Friend helped me line up the camshaft gear with the crankshaft gear. I was able to do everything else, now the motor is timed, and It runs like it never has before. I thank you for all your help. You pointed me in the right direction. The chain was quite stretch, witch caused quite a few problems. Runs solid now. Thanks.
