    Hi bghnkinf250 -

I remember from one of your posts a couple of years ago that you used to work rebuilding transmissions.
I know the NP435 & T18/19 both have good reputations, but do you recommend either one over the other?

The main consideration I've got is that I would prefer a close-ratio trans, like a T19, to get away from the big 3rd-4th jump of the 435 that I have now. I'm only using the truck on-road, & don't need the granny low.
But if the Borg Warners are inferior to the NP435, I'll reconsider.

I've only driven one T18 before & i thought it shifted smoother than the 'notchier' NP435. But my main issue is the ratios & jumps.

Do you have any thoughts / recommendations?
    Thanks.

    Ken

You are a member, right? Of course I would give you the price! As for mileage, it belonged to a friend of mine, who took it out of her wrecked truck. Iam not sure of the mileage since the rebuild, but I can tell you she took excellent care of her truck. I was going to use it to replace a c6 in my truck, but realized it might be a cheaper conversion for me to go a ZF route.

I have heard the connector shapes changed between years, although I believe they are the same connections, but do not know for sure. Let me know if you are interested!
