    Nope. Not at all. They are two totally different pieces and the only way to get a replacement is to either pull the rod and clip off another master cylinder which is quite difficult with the plastic retainer in place or just replace the master cylinder. Ford does sell the whole kit, master and slave.

    I was reading that post you wrote about the clutch pedal returning to high, and how that clip inside the master cylinder for the clutch was broken. IS that clip similar to the clip on the pedal end that holds the pushrod to the pedal? Thanks

    That would be the Under Valve Cover Harness quarter mod. It is where you stick a quarter under the clip from the top of the top of the clip to keep it from vibrating loose and coming undone there by leaving you stranded until you pull the valve cover and plug it back in again.
