    Garypettengill,
I saw your post about your Ford 400 with EFI. I have a Ford F-150 Ranger XLT with the 400. My engine is old and tired, with 114k miles on it. My mechanic says basically everything is leaking, and I am using about a quart of oil every 1000 miles. I spoke with my uncle whom I hold in high regard as a gear head, about my engine and my options and he told me, "buy a crate motor and go fuel injected." I did some searching around and I saw your setup. I am looking for more information on how to go about getting this kind of setup. I am curious, too, if this engine setup has worked well.

Ideally, I would like to get this truck in a position to be able to pull 6000lbs worth of camper/gear. Would a new 400 crate motor with EFI do the job? Obviously this kind of setup isn't cheap, but its significantly cheaper than going and buying a new truck. I am looking for lots of torque and reliability. What are your thoughts?

    Thanks!
    Andrew

I ran across a post of yours that I was wondering if you could help out with? Post was made on 10-22-08 and you posted a link to photobucket that was I believe an factory a/c schematic. The link no longer works. I am looking for a factory a/c schematic. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Shane. E-mail is msgdad07@yahoo.com
