hey I have the same issue.
: water seaping through windshield and damaging the fuse box/GEM module, (google diagnostic by searching myself) saw the suspect relay connector and its burned solder on the cicuit board. I fixed it by opening the fuse box and resoldering the broken printed circuit at the relay connection. . The behavior is: " PRNDL Error " on the dash and a stuck shift lever, sometimes a buzzing relay at the fuse panel. wont start condition and no start when ignition turned. When it occurs at high speed, which it did on the way to vegas, the truck will just shut off although still have electronics on in truck.
How did you fix it. How were you able to tell what it was. I need to check, but not sure what to check for. Can you give me a rundown please? i have a 99 NAVI and it cuts off about 70 or so or who knows when. I just want to check things.
