Hello, Senix suggested I contact you because I just installed a Eaton Truetrac limited slip in my 2008 F250 and am wondering about what kind of gear oil to use. I normally use the Amsoil Severe Gear 75W/140 but read somewhere on the board that you shouldn't use synthetic with the Truetrac. Conversely, I read in the owners manual that the Truetrac differential is designed to operate in those lubricants recommended by the vehicle/axle manufacturer for conventional differentials.
Senix mentioned that you have been using a Truetrac for quite awhile so wanted to see what gear oil you were using. I don't want to have issues nor take any risks ruining the new LSD.

I was told to PM you about your TrueTrac, I was wondering how satisfied you are with it. I was thinking about getting one because my LSD just does not cut it.

I tow on the weekends, do a fair amount of hauling and off road work, and I plow in the winter.

Also, if you had it installed, how much did it cost, or if you did it yourself, how hard was it?

hey i got some pics of that exhaust it was a little late in the evening so i couldn't get any undercarriage photos or photos of that intake i'll prob post em tomorrow. hope ya like wat ya see of it. i love the mbrp myself
