Well, somebody may be confused, I had the Edge Insight. It's pretty much the same thing, just not as nice. I may be wrong but the EGT 1 was the most active and reacted instantly to throttle position, like it was real time pre-turbo, connected to your right foot. I always just assumed that this was the pre-turbo because of its behavior. The engine will run slightly above 1300 degrees when worked hard in hot weather so I set the alarm for 1400. Never hit it. I set coolant temp alarm at 230, only hit that once or twice (I had coolant system issues). A good running 6.4 will stay below 225. Oil temp, same. 230 alarm. I never monitored tansmission temp, never got hot. Always right around 195-200 at the hottest. Hope this helps.
