Sorry about the slow response.
My 7.3 was a 2001 f-350, 6 speed manual, 4x4, crew cab, long box, 3.73 gear ratio.
I put a Banks Power Pack system on the truck at about 5,000 miles and ran it to 110,000 miles which is when I crashed it. I averaged about 17-18 mpg around town and 20ish out on the hwy. When towing I would see anywhere from 15-17. I had a chip from superchips in it that died and went with a banks 120hp chip. Never saw over 1100 degrees on the EGT's. I would also see around 25lbs of boost.
What tuner?
This my personal opnion and what I have obsereved, if it is Bully Dog or Edge take it off and sell it to someone else. All they do is build very very high egt's and blow smoke. I have tried 2 bully dog's and 1 edge and had bad results with both.
