I bought the new vacuum tubing with the PCV Valve today. My question is not only is very difficult to see/follow but, how are you supposed to get your hands in there to R&R the part. I can't even see where it attaches to the back side of the housing. Thanks in advance for any help. You can also reply to me at jlclroe@yahoo.com. John

Hello Moto Mel, I'm working on a 2004 F-150 with the 3v 5.4. I'm changing the cam phasers, Chains, guids and tensioners. I say in your post that you had a manual you would send someone if they PM you with their email. Mine is crusch84@hotmail.com if you could send me that manual I would greatly appreciate it! thank you very much!

Hey there Moto Mel.....I was looking up something that is wrong with my truck and came across a post you made..... My 2002 f150 has oil in the radiator. But doesn't seem to be leaking or smoking so I read to check the radiator and when I pulled the cap off I saw blackish color water! The reason I noticed is that I keep having to add oil to my truck and didn't know where it was going? Anyway the reason I'm messaging you is you replied to someone saying that it could be an adapter on the lower left side of the motor that has o rings that can cause that? My question for you is where is that adapter? And is there anywhere I could see pictures to help me along? Thanks Moto!c

    Hello,

I am trying to time my 5.4 V3 (rebuild) and I was wondering if you would email me this timing procedure?
    My email is: 1.luke1027@gamil.com

    Thanks,

    5.4 SOHC cam Timing

sounds like you may know some of the Modular stuff? I have the valve cover off on drivers side, oil filler off on passangers side to see inside-crank at TDC, drivers side is a bit to the rt, say 1:00 instead of 12:00. if i bring the crank back to 10 btc it is straight up and down. is this a possibility it is off a tooth? i havent pulled the pass vc due to ac restrictions yet, but is the an accurate way to check this? getting a p0340 and all wiring and PCM tests good,...
If you send me your email address via PM I'll send the page on cam timing from my manual to you.
