Sorry for delayed response guys. Flinty you're welcome and good luck. Booma the topper is made by Raider and its the "Nomad II" model. I'm actually selling it now if you haven't found one yet. The guy that bought my truck doesn't want it so I have to find a new home for it. Cheers

    Brandon,

What brand/model is the shell on your truck in the photo? I have a "new-to-me" 2010 Super Duty and need a shell ASAP. I had a Snugtop on my Chevy and loved it but the local dealer doesn't have any for a Super Duty in stock that I can take a look at.

Are you happy with your choice?

BigBlack: I ran a line from the slip tank outlet through the floor of the box and then hooked it to a simple ball valve mounted in the wheel well. Then ran a line from the ball valve into the fill neck of the main tank. I have meant to add a solenoid valve into the system and tie it into my Upfitter switch but haven't gotten around to it yet. It works great as of now I just find it a pain to get out of the truck to start or stop the flow from the slip tank. You could easily place the ball valve in the box but I opted for the wheel well as I have the topper on mine. As for the tuner I bought it through a buddy who brought 5 of them into Canada directly from Spartan.

Sorry it took me so long but I was sure I had answered your question a LONG time ago but don't see the answer and rarely check in here.

I never personally noticed a high boost problem and always assumed that to make huge power you're going to need a lot of boost out of the turbos. As for the fuel mileage these trucks really are completely different. I've really started to drive mine by the boost guage and try to never let it get over 20 PSI and it really seems to help the MPG. It's hard with all that power under the hood but it should definately help. You might want to also try a couple other tunes as some guys have had better luck with the 250 tune and some with the 300 as well. If you're still not having any luck then post a question on Spartan's site because there are a ton of guys on there that would be willing to help you out. Good Luck

Hey. How's it going? I have been reading a lot of forums and you seen to have a lot of input about the Spartan tuners. I just installed one on my 09 350 and am running the 275 tune. I don't seem to be getting very good fuel mileage and am also getting high boost readings. Have you had or know of any problems like this. Also I was wondering if you put studs in your heads? Thanks for your time.

    Hey Brandon,
I am thinking about the Spartan for my truck lately. Do you have any pics of the Phalanx installed in your cab, just wondering how it looks / fits?

    Hi Ray,
The topper is made by Raider and it's the Nomad 2 model. I've been super happy with it and would definately recommend it. It's a little pricey because it is one of their higher end models but you get what you pay for and I think it looks a lot better than some of the cheaper ones. Hope this helps,
    Brandon
