Hey great looking truck, I'm looking to do the same to mine. Any advice on the frame swap. I have an Olds 455 and 350 turbo tranny pushing my 64 around. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hey dman, i posted a message about a GM gas tank with ford gauges. Could i take the sending unit resistor out of a ford gas tank from the junk yard and solder it into the GM tank.

Used an Ez wire harness, the motor is bored .040 over with flat top pistons, crane cam with about .500 lift, edelbrock performer intake, edelbrock 750 carb, hedman hedders, 2.5 exhaust with dynomax bullets, pertronix electronic conversion.

i would say the hardest part getting the box to sit just right, as it sits up in the back so I modified the bed floor as i replaced the hole thing and put in new channel for beams and flat steel for the floor and then I am doing Cherry Wood and aluminum diamond plate. As for the mounts I had to cut out the angled wedge piece n the top and pound it flat and then weld it which was real easy. The rear cab mounts are you reference point always. Frame width stayed the same and I cut a bit off the dumb end of the frame about 2". If I was to do it again I recommend a Crown vic swap or some type of IFS it will be way less fabing.

What was the hardest part to convert from the oem 64 chassis to a 75 F150? Front cab mounts? And did you have to shorten the frame width or anything like that?
