    Hi. I'm a reporter with the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. I'm working on a story about Ford's decision to go with an aluminum body on the new F-150, and I'd really like to hear what you think about it. I'd also like to see if we could send a photographer up your way to get a couple of shots of the Green Monster. It looks beautiful. I'm at mwereschagin@tribweb.com or 412-320-7900.     Well, any time you remove and rebuild the carb, you will need to tweek the timing. Have you tried that? Also the fuel/air mixtue, try adjusting the floats. Nit sure what engine or carb you have, but if it is the 300 cid with a one barrel and points, really isn't much else that could give you trouble with it running. There is always the vacuum lines and hoses, are they in good condition and connected properly?

    yeah trying to slowly do some upgrades.. just had the carb rebuilt.. unfortualely, found some rust on my cab corners.. have to fix THAT now, lol not too bad, yet... a small hole on passenger side and a spot about as big and as long as a man's thumb on the driver's side....

    Hey was just looking at your album.. That is a great looking original truck. I have that exact same tag on the front of mine. They compliment these trucks so well. It looks like youre doing some upgrades to it... If you end up doing away with that factory fresh air intake for a performance one let me know... im restoring one back to original and cant find those things anywhere.
