    Hey Monty. My camper is just a little heavier than yours, so I'm wondering how much difference did the air bags make when towing? Does it help chucking? I guess it help to dampen bouncing?

    I personally like the 6.4. The mileage is not the best, but I bought it to pull! I get around 8 towing my 15,000 pound fiver and around 12-14 around town. Duallies are not know for good mileage. I drive an '08 F450 ambulance at work, which has had a few problems, but the thing is a brute. Just follow the severe maintenance on it and all should be fine. I had the chance to buy an '11 but for the price diff of $17k and only a few more miles per gallon, I can put a lot of fuel in mine! The 6.4 is a favorite engine for people to mod, I haven't due to only having 15k miles on mine now. I like warranties! I would love a newer one, just to have a newer one, but I love my 6.4L.

    Hey I was eyeing your ride and I found one that looks like it. Lately I see where some are talking trash about the 6.4 so I thought I would post you to get your thoughts on that since I am in the market.

    Behind the passenger battery box and before the air filter housing there is a connector that looks like a big inline fuse. Take that connector apart and take the male end(will have to pull it loose from the part that is connected to the negative battery cable) and place it on a screw on the positive battery cable. Crank the vehicle(may take up to 5 minutes before it will crank). then take the connector off and reconnect. Truck should be fine to drive to dealer. Some truck have a very short line on that connector. Take a couple of alligator clips and about an 8" piece of 12g wire and make a 'jumper' to connect the male end of the connector to the positive post. I know keep a 'jumper' in my trucks at all times. Hope this helps.
