    Hi Jim, new here but a FTE and Ford vehicle enthusiast since my 55 ford Niagara. My question refers to the air cleaner on your 460 with the second air inlet controlled by manifold vacuum. I was looking at a post from 2011 and I saw you posted a pic of your air cleaner. I have one on my E350 RV with a 351 W. Its a non catalyst with 2 air pumps like your 460. Someone messed up the vacuum lines (missing and plugged) I need to verify that the manifold vacuum that drives the air pump dump valve that feeds the air cleaner comes from the ATC in the air cleaner. Thats my last line to figure out. I have backfiring in the exhaust on engine decel since that dump valve was disconnected and continues in default mode and pumps air to the exhaust.

    Hey, a guy referred me to you to ask some questions regarding an alternator upgrade and maybe some pully upgrade too. Said you knew stuff.

    I have a 1993 F250 long box, 5L. I was wanting to do my alternator upgrade and I'm looking for who still sells the harness upgrade, and what part numbers I need to find the 3g so I know what I'm looking for.

    Would you be willing to answer a few questions about carb swaps on EFI 460s?

    I have a 96. I understand all about the pros and cons, have done similar swaps before but with mostly GM vehs. If I swap, will the speedo still work? I guess what I am asking is does the VSS signal run through the ECM? Cruise control still work too? This is the only hold up I have to swapping.

    Interesting. Mine has three wires, as shown below. LG/Y is always hot and is used for the map lights. BK/PK is switched by the headlight switch and serves the cargo light and the dome light. And BK/LB is switched by the door switches and serves the dome light only.

    I have the harness that connects to the standard cab harness, and I think there is constant power in it as the map lights work at any time. Don't they?

    I have to thank you for being part of a thread in 2009 regarding 460/Holly 4BBL and smog plates, vacuum hoses etc. I have been looking for some help with that for DAYS to get the RV done and ready to fly.
    The pic of the EGR plate was the biggest help.
    Thought you SHOULD know someone else greatly appreciates your input.
