    hey darrell,
i use the super clean from castrol.. that stuff really works well. but for the thick coated grease i use easy off oven cleaner. but that stuff will discolor aluminum.
my wife loves the castrol super clean. even around the house.

darrell i have 40k worth of tools sae and metric. yes my ranger does! my shadow does to. my race car is a 68 coronet and its all standard. but the work i do you need both standard and metric tools. not brag or rub it anybodies face but yes i do. thats ok man you have to search your options. some of my tools are spendy and some are cheap. you can go to sears and buy a set of metric wrenches for about 40 bucks
same for the sockets. my wife gets pissed at me sometimes but when you make 12.50 an hour you need them right. most of my tools i've had for over 20 years.
and darrell i try to help as much as i can for anyone. i have built several engines from a 2.5 4 cyl to a c 15 cat. and bigger than that. and my friend thats what we are here for.
