I've got ALOT of experience with the TPI motors. I would buy an aftermarket harness and factory computer. I've done it on many streetrods and musclecars, including my sons 77 Nova.

As for the Mark VIII motor, I may go with the stock computer and wiring on it also. I'm not looking for speed or lots of hp, I just want a very reliable motor. I had thought about the MS stuff, but there seems to be alot parts. Maybe I'll do more research first. Are you using the stock ECM and harness at this point? Did you buy a Helms manual to help with the wiring, etc?? Thanks for all of your info! John

Wow, You're a popular guy! Got a couple of questions for you... I am also going to do the CV IFS swap, along with a `94 Mark VIII IRS and 4.6 DOHC swap. I've read that you used the Megasquirt to control your EFI. Which system did you use? Is there a way possible that you could make me up a parts list? I've done lots of EFI swaps (both Ford and GM), but I have always used the stock ECM as a platform to build from. I am thinking the Megasquirt may be a better alternative. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks, John

67 ford, I cant PM you, you might have something not check in your user control panel. I know what you mean having too much in it to not have it work. I think the best way is how Carcrafter22 installed his. The brackets most certainly can be used and will work with some braces and gussests in the right place. I think if you took some time looking at what team321 and what carcrafter22 did with his, you could come up with some hybrid brackets or a way to make it work.
