Yeah, my wife would probably like new seals on the doors & windows, but I don't want to do that now since I'm replacing the doors to get away from the slide locks. However, the seals aren't really bad - not like those on the '82 I had. From the poll I took it is obvious that Ford's vendor(s) changed the product in '82 and part of '83 before changing again to something that lasts.
Yeah, I need to renew the seals, but that will happen as I do all the body work. As for the tranny my ZF5 needs a refurb as it doesn't like to go into reverse sitting still, much less rolling. So the synchros are gone and not letting it go in or at least all the way in.
But, the ZF is pretty complex I'm told so I'd probably have it done. Will you refresh the T19 yourself?
Lol! I have two visitor messages from you. One from today, 4-1-2013 and one from 31-1-2012. Both read "Thanks for the reps, Gary." Well, not quite - the first one doesn't have a full stop like the second one does. Man of few words and don't vary them much?
No worries buddy. And yep, sways on my truck. It tracks very well, alignment from the PO seems spot on. But I hit one of those un-colored speed bumps yesterday...almost left a dent on the roof with my head haha.
Yeah, dealing with these messages is somewhat quirky.
I don't know of a way to undelete them and have it work like you're expecting. I think you can still "edit" a deleted message and choose the "do not delete" box but I'm not sure that does what I'd expect.
In any case, I believe it is only YOU who can see that text telling you such-n-such message has been deleted, other visitors see only the text that hasn't been deleted.
You can also go look at your profile without having first logged in to FTE to see what others see.
