Joe, somebody metioned that you might know if/how to get the dash display to show engine hours on a 7.3l? Is it even possible?

See you have had similar problems with a VSM. Do I read your post correctly that you put a 'used' VSM in your truck and it didn't need dealer programming? I have programmed key fobs, so I'm ok with that, but would be way cool if I could just try a salvage yard VSM. BTW, I have a '02 F350 4 door diesel Lariat. Sounds like it's no surprise my VSM is out. Local dealer wants 1 1/2 hours labor + to fix it, more if they 'diagnose' it. Would like to try to do it on my own if possible. Thanks!

Hello there. I have a question regarding 4r100 check ball, I have built many of these, but I have one that a metal check ball magically appeared when I was cleaning the case. No diagram and have never seen one and not a clue where it came from. Any ideas? Thanks
