    As I recall, the customer declined any further repairs on that vehicle. Every other Escape motor I've had out or seen come out has been from the bottom, removing engine, transmission, and k-member (front subframe and suspension) as a unit.

    hello in 2007 you posted that you were going to remove an engine from and Escape. i find myself in that same situation and would like to know if you were able to remove it from the top or did you have to remove it from bottom as manual describes. any help appreciated thanks don witt
