I've check a number of things and i should probably test my pcm connector but i don't know which pins do what i have a diagram but there are no indicators on the connector that i can see and alot of wires. and then I wonder what to do if there is some sort of thing going on in the connector. any i was thinking about getting a scanning tool and some said that you have one and might be in my area i don't know if that possible or something you could or would do just looking at my options and i'm pretty sure that i'm not the only person that this has ever happened to, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated also is ae the best for the money. i don't want to buy one but i want to keep my truck for at least a couple hundred thau more.

I found one of the internet for 145 shipped got and put it in it started right up. I drove it for a week no problem then it just turned off. I coasted to the side of the road and tryed to restart say type of thing no wait to start light fusses all good turns over really well. i had it towed and found a place that wold rebuild my pcms sent them off put one in and no start. no wait to start light no blown fuses changed glow plug relay no difference and changed my cam shaft sensor no change cranks over well but no wait to start light I don' know what to do

I have already disconected my fuel heater last winter no bad fuses sent it to the dealer and they said that the pcm was not responding but the had to check the harness they checked the harness and said that everything was fine so it must be my pcm it would be 900.00 for the part and like 300.00 to put it in and they charged me 330 to tell me that. This being FTE and your chapter that allows me to be the leader, I don't understand why some people can and we cannot. I guess that is where I didn't think we were breaking FTE Rules by posting stuff that has and will be posted in the future in other threads. P.S. I am only responding to what was brought up to us in this forum......

Tim where does reality begin. I don't understand why we are getting swamped with moderators and administrators lately. I mean all we want to do is form a club, just like the N.E.S.T. North East Seven Three's link to thread, and ETAPS, Eastern Tennessee Area Powerstrokes. In FTE REALITY you allow them to form groups and use FTE resources to communicate GTG's. SO how is that we are so different. That is all we want to do and yet MN cannot do it. Is there a fee that we need to pay or are they just special. Also I disagree with the subject that we cannot outsource parts. I mean after all BTS, DB Electrical, and the many who are not SPONSORS of FTE, and yet they are allowed to be talked about frequently and yet when we try we get LOCKED out.
