Hello my name is Nathan and I live in Kitchener Waterloo. I have an 1994 AWD Aerostar with some troubled AWD. I am wondering if you know of anyone in the area who has an AWD Aerostar that would possibly help me out. I need to borrow the AWD control module that is located under the drivers seat. I need to try one (that works) on my aerostar to see if my control module is shot or if its my transfer case clutch. If another control module fixes my problem then I will go buy one from the wreckers but I would like to test this before doing so. If it doesnt work I guess I will be looking for a new transfer case. Hope to hear from you sooner rather than later. Thanks in advance for advice you may have.

I see you have 355,000 miles! I am way behind you with 175,000 miles on my cargo van. I did have replaced the transmission and transmission lines though and a rebuilt alternator. Right now it is rusting pretty bad on the drivers side between the wheels down below. Sheet metal work will have to be done. The original air conditioner still works! I agree with you that the vulcan engine is "bullet proof". It is in better shape than my 2005 Chevy and my 1971 Olds Cutlass convertible engines!

All original powertrain except alternator & starter motor. 335,000 kms but sadly now believed to be deceased.

When describing the V6 Vulcan engine, the word Bullet proof is not too much of an exageration !!! Just a little TLC goes a LONG way. Used no oil, 10L /100km on h/way.
