I am an attorney representing the plaintiffs in a class action suit pending in federal court. The class is comprised of persons (about 45,000) who purchased new 2004 SuperDuty and Excursion trucks with the 6.0L PS diesel but actually got 2003.25 model engines.

If you are in that situation, or know of someone in that situation, please have them contact me, as I need some information and I may be able to assist them (at no cost) even if there have been no particular issues with your engine, Ford has done something for you about it already, or you no longer own the truck.

    Thank you.

Thanks. Do you miss the extra space in the back of the Suburban compared to the Excursion? From what I've seen the space behind the 3rd seat in the Suburban is notably smaller than the Excursion. Although I guess if you are pulling an RV trailer you don't need much space for storage in the vehicle. Glad your Suburban is treating you well.

Scott, I've followed your posts about the 6.0 problems and feel for you - not fun. I think I've at least learned from your experience not to go with a 6.0 despite its performance appeal. I read on one post you used to have a Megacab Cummins. That is the one pickup we've considered. I'd love to hear how you liked that compared to your Ex. russellbailey3 [at] yahoo [dot] com. Thanks - hope you are enjoying your new vehicle.
