Hey I posted on a thread about someone wanting to put the 3.5l Ecoboost into a Ranger and I had a question about something it would entail. What would have to be done in order to mount a transverse engine to a frame that was made for a longitudinal engine?

I saw a post by (Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - View Profile: BigG~ ) about your info. I need help if you will. I have a 2000 ford eb exp with 5.4 auto 4x4 and want to replace engine in 2003 ford exp with 4.6 2x4. First will engine swap with wiring harness unchanged ? Are there any issues to deal with ? The 2000 is a complete body total. The 2003 has a locked up engine.

Hey I have a question about your swap, did you end up using the computer that was originally for the 4r100 on the 4r70w? if so did you have to do anything special to make it work?
