    Welcome to the Tx chapter. If you have not already stop in and take a look at the stickies at the top of the chapter. There is a great bunch of guys here. If you don't mind add your first name to your sig. I find it much eaiser to get to know one anouther by name than it is by screen name. Once again welcome to the chapter. Here is a link to the thread for you to do your introductions. http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/956087-tx-chapter-welcome-our-new-member-3.html

    Stu,
    I don't yet have enough posts on the forum to meet the requirements to post an ad in the classifieds. If you know someone who can use them I'll take $100 each.

    Alan - I'll keep it in mind next time somebody needs a set for their F-600. I don't have need for them myself, and in fact have a local company that's going out of business in the next few weeks that has some NOS 22.5s with this pattern that I can get below cost if I want them. As you know shipping is always the killer on any of these, so finding somebody near where you live will be helpful. Stu

    Alan - This message system is new to me, so let's see if I can add pictures here. The CR and FL are more modern locking ring designs. Either can be set up as a two piece or three piece assembly. They should be great wheels. Now let's see if I can post that diagram.

    Edit - I just reread your question and can't say why both your CR and FL are marked as 6.5" width. The chart says they should be one or the other in that width. I'll do some reading and see if I can figure out why. It probably won't much matter since they appear to be interchangeable. Stu

    Thanks Bill.
    The seller told me it has a 4 speed. I hope he's wrong and it actually has a 5 speed.
    I understand that those rear axle gear ratios are extremely low and the truck tops out at about 50 mph. I won't be hauling much weight so I don't need the real low gears. Does your parts book show any higher gears available (maybe something in the range of a 4.11:1 ratio)?

    1958 F600: The parts catalog decode charts don't give much info.

    I had to go to the 1958 trans application charts to find out what 5 speed direct came with an F600.

    H = New Process 5 Speed Direct. The Clark is not listed for an F600.

    62 = Eaton 2 Speed Rear Axle / 6.33-1/8.88-1 / 15,000 lb. Rear Axle Capacity.

    Two different models are shown: Eaton 13602 or Eaton 13800.

    13602: No driving pinion pilot bearing.
