Buck, I saw that you did a intergral steering change over in your restoration on the highboy. I have a 77 and I plan on doing a similar swap with a 78 250 4wd box, My question is that I have a skyjacker 4inch lift in my truck and I was wondering if i would need just the Stock 78 pitman arm or should I get a dropped arm ?Also what did you use for springs in your truck?

Check out the louisville craigslist. 79 f250 for sale. Hard to tell about the rust on it, but the dana additions make it interesting. No title, but I would have him go to the county and apply for lost title in front of me before even considering it. Also if you know anyone looking for a 2wd camper special there is one on Nashville Clist with 60k original miles.

For removal of the dent side raceway trim, are the nuts/retainers visible? Do I need to take off door panels? Also the dentside trim on the fenders, do you get at them from underneath the truck or inside hood? Thanks Geoff

Hey there, I noticed in your sig that your only running a 750cfm carb on that big 521. I'm sure it runs great, but that seems undersized for such a large motor? Even in my 445 not turning anymore than 5300rpm I would gain some power by stepping up to an 800 or 850cfm. I would think it'd really be choking yours? Your thoughts....

so you would definalty upgrade it over the hydraulic assist. I do plan to offroad the truck, probably nothing too hardcore though. The push pull would work alright for mild offroading though compared to factory hydraulic assist?

i know you talk of you wish you did crossover steering, but is the push pull setup you converted to better than the stock hyraulic assist. im kinda on a budget so just want something better that original. what would you recommend? tmy truck is not a daily driver, just a fun toy truck.
