Hola amigo Bearju117, as to my p/s conversion, I found a box on evilbay, and chose the 4 bolt box (there are lots of lighter weight 3 bolts out there), and the guy advertised it as a "Rockcrusher". I mounted it to the outside of the frame, and put the pitman arm, 180 deg from the stock position.. ie, it points away from the motor, and connects to the knuckle, via a shortened drag link. I also shortened the steering column shaft. My write up, and photos should be on this site somewhere, but its been 4 years now, and I have lost track of it.. Good luck.. Baja oh, I found the stock mounting brackets, for the saginaw canned ham style pump, from 3 different Ford dealers, each who had one part. The Saginaw pump was used by Ford on the E-100 to E300's..

Hi. I'm trying to remove the power assist steering from my 77 highboy. Which box did you use and how did you get everything connected? Also, how did you mount up the saginaw pump?
