    Hi Fat Diesel,

I live in San Jose, own a '91 Airstream camper van built on the econoline one ton chassis with the 7.3 diesel and desperately need help with finding a good diesel mechanic. I'm having a crank no start problem. It has always started right up when I crank it up every two months or so in storage. It failed to start this past week. It would just crank forever without ever sounding like it was about to fire. I pressed the shraeder valve at the filter while cranking and plenty of diesel squirted out. The "wait to start" came on and went off just as normal with the usual clicking. That is about as far as I am capable of trouble shooting as I'm really "light" on diesels. I'm losing my storage space and need to get this thing running again quickly and sell it. Thanks in advance for your help. My name is Peter and my number is 408-660-6649.

Im trying to learn about Diesel Trucks. I need something to that I can haul my horses with, my Suburban had died. I've been eyeing Ford F250 and F350 for quite some time. I know nothing about diesel except they have superior towing ability. I'm also looking at a used 2006 that has a theft salvage title, what should I look for. Will also need a diesel mechanic, south San Jose/Morgan Hill area. I need help!!

    Fat Diesel,

I was reading a post you created about the 7.3L dipstick repair kit. I'm going to be pulling my engine and rebuilding it shortly. Do you see anything wrong with just welding the dipstick adapter plate to the side of the oil pan? If you do I'll just purchase the repair kit but if you don't I would rather just weld it and be done with it.

Andy, I know this was a while ago, but do you still have the instructions for making the injector analyzer? I am a full time diesel tech at an independent shop and also own an '04 F350 6.0l. Thank you in advance for any help.

I like the pics of how you plumbed your ccv mod into your exhaust? Where did you get the part/parts you have welded into your exhaust after the muffler that the hose attatches to?
