Your truck looks great. I have inherited my dads 97 f250 7.3 crew cab 2wd and want to convert it to 4wd. How did you mount the front springs on your truck? Are there holes already in the frame for spring shackles or am I going to have to drill holes?

Converting to 4x is a very easy change to make. The only fab work is at the front of the frame for the front spring mount. The rest is bolt on. As far as the details, I'm sure you can find them with a little searching. It's been covered on here and other forums. Sorry, just can't type it all out again...

Hey just wondering if you could give me idea of what it took to convert your truck to 4 wheel drive. I have a 87 F150 and would like to "upgrade to 4x4". I know a lot of people suggest against it but for me it will be fun.

Hey. i want to convert my 96 dually to 4x4. could you give me some idea of what parts i need. I.E. what spring mounts and and front axle to look for. Can i use a newer super duty front axle?? thanks for any help you can provide me. For the money i have in the truck it may be worth me converting rather than buying a newer truck plus i like old body style better anyway.
