Yes, it has an internal thermostat. That requires a heated flush machine.

The Ohio Chapter is pretty quiet, actually, but I'm trying to change that! The idea is to have local get togethers and meet up at local events. There are a few guys planning to meet at the Summit Racing Truckfest this weekend.

We have had several get togethers, but not really enough. Mostly in the southwest corner of the state...

Aside from that, make buddies, maybe get guys to help you with issues on your truck, etc. We have had guys who have gone to other members homes to help them work on their trucks, for example.

I'll pass along the info in another one a these Visitors Messages if anyone else has any.

EDIT No Ford Dealer has any.

btw: I was born cranky, 65 years later...nothing has changed.

Waiting on pinheads at Ford parts counters over 35 years didn't help one damn bit.

Ford dealers do not guarantee electrical parts if bought at the parts counter. They did once, but no longer because ppl took advantage of it. It was like a lending library...ppl bought a part, installed it, then if the part didn't solve the problem, brought it back. Now the next person that needs this part is gonna see tool marks, meaning the part was installed, and won't buy it.

The other problem was, the part could have been shorted out...and who would know that...except the pinhead that installed it...then returned it.

Now you know why Green Sales, prolly every other obsolete parts vendor will not guarantee electrical parts.

The Ford Dealer parts locator system is down, so when it wakes up, there may be more of these around > >

FYI- "Standard" is a brand name of a company that builds electrical components, Blue Streak is their HP line (used in NASCAR in the old days), Either a good ol fashioned auto parts store or an auto electrical rebuilder should have them.

I sent a friend request to you, figures since we have pretty much the same truck that if you and I have question we could bounce them off of each other. Maybe by going out and taking a picture it would help each each other out on our restorations. Take a look at my gallery. Just click on my name at top of the post and then click on gallery. Most of the pictures ahave captions.
