Well I did the swap, and just got my exhaust done today. 2in with 2 forty series mufflers and it sounds great but Im not sure how to fine tune this carb. Am I supposed to have a vacuum advance and where does my 1 vacuum line go on the carb there are like 5 on this 4 barrel holley. I think im also having electrical issues is a mallory or something similar better for all around performance.I added the pics in an album on my page

I have a couple questions for you, maybe you could help. I have a 69 F100 300 4.9 After multiple problems with the single barrel carb and vacuum leaks I ripped everything off and bought the offenhauser 6227C intake manifold, the hedman headers 89300 and a holly 4 barrel 600 cfm carb. I have not put these items on yet, I was wondering if you knew what this would do to my T18 granny gear transmission, I would like some get up and go but would something else be better such as a t5 or something? davidwelch3@gmail.com

Question...I am having some issues finding a suitable oil pan for the W. I need a front sump with the dipstick in the pan on the driver side...any suggestions? Would a 302 pan work? As soon as I can get the pan, and get it installed, I can drop the engine back in and go...thanks for the help.

Hi I am also putting a 351C in my 1979 F250 4x4 and was wondering what motor perches you used on your motor. I also am running a 4 speed. I had a 300 in it and just tried to set the 351c in and the perches are about six inches too far forward.

Hey whats going on, thanks for the info on my thread it was helpfull. I see you have a M-1 and what looks to be a marlin 30-30 on your avatar photo, I shot my first deer with a marlin 30-30 and i also have my grandfathers M-1 that he had in WWII, they are cool guns and fun to shoot and i will always take care of mine and hopefully pass it on to my son one day, that is if the goverment dosent pry it from my cold dead hand first.
