Good day, Just joined site after reading your idi build. Have been looking for the right site to join this is it.
I just purchased a 94 idit dually after looking for more than two years. It seems to have a small oil pressure issue and as such I found a donor truck to do an engine rebuild. Was going to do a stock rebuild but now I would like to run more allong the lines of what you have done on the thread. Regarding cams and turbos etc. Are you currently selling any of the discussed items/a3k build or cam shaft stage1 and if so where can I buy. Also any other info I would need for doing a slightly modded rebuild. I am not looking for super amounts of per just a better performing driver as it is a work hauler, and a non stop city driver. Thanks in advance..

Hey i couldnt help but notice you are running one of R&D RD4 pumps i was wondering just what size it was and how you like it? Im in the middle of a 7.3 build with a HX-35, typ4 cam, and custom injectors but cant decide on what size pump would fit best for my motor.

    Hey,
Someone refered you to me about a window swap on an older extended cab side 2 pc. window exchange for a one piece window from a later year model. How much work was envolved from the outside? I can make the inside panels work. On a 1-10 scale how difficult to complete? I'm repainting my 86 ext cab and the only thing on the truck I don't like (bone stock), is the side 2 pc windows. Just looks cheezy to me
    Any tips or suggestions?
    Thanks for your time,
    Jim

See if you can find a part number or something on your flywheel to maybe cross reference to find out what balance it is.

Hey Racin. I want to build. Hopefully after the first of the year, I can start to purchase some things. Want to stud it and cam it. Not sure about the turbo. I can't do the custom set-up myself, so not sure if I need to go there right now. I hear you have some upgrades for the ats. If I do studs and cam, would my turbo and upgraded ip be good for descent hp, or would it be better to do another turbo? Price will be a major deciding factor for the turbo. Thanks for any info.

I have been told that you are the guy to go to for idi parts. I am building a 7.3 to go into my 1968 f250. I am looking for good injectors, fuel pump, cam, and head studs. Let me know what my options are.
