    Duh! Never mind. I understand what you're saying now. I'll switch them tomorrow after I get some more electrical tape to tape everything back up after I cut the wire cover off. Thanks again!

    Which wires? The orange is the 12v, but when I hit the brakes, the orange, green and yellow wires all light up the tester. The green & yellow wires are the turn signals, so what do I switch the orange wire with? Also, do I switch it before the pigtail or after the pigtail at the plug? Thank you so much for your help!
