I like the way your engine looks, very clean and colored! my block is blue but i won't be able to clean it until I get it out of the truck and on a stand to wash it by hand or power wash/steam it.

    Few questions:

    1. your throttle linkage, what brand did you use? i have an edelbrock 650CFM and the braket for the the linkage doesn't work.

    2. Are you going to upgrade the headers? i've been looking into GT40P heads and an upgraded cam, trying to keep this all under 500 bucks. And under 1000 from here on out for everythingi add on the engine for looks and performance.

    3. have you ever had anything media blasted before?

i have a complete cab, but it's not beat up. it's covered in ppg primer, por-15 on the floorboard, and has the original fuel filler covered up. the cab corners have been repaired. no glass. i'm in houston. if you may be interested in knowing more, please contact me.

Yeah trust me when I say this! I am not well off financially either! That's why I do all my shopping at the salvage yard!lol this cold weather will slow me down alot,it's not easy to heat the garage up,so weeknights are too short to be worthwhile. I need to get a good plan in writing, also need to clean and organize the garage so I got room to work! This is a tough post,I am doing this from an iPod touch..amazing little thing but to time consuming to type! It would be cool to meet sometime, who knows, maybe a car show in the future! I will get back to you when my wife doesn't have the computer! She beat me to it! Lol
