Did you buy a new/rebuilt 4 core? Or did you pull it off another truck?

I wish I could just call you if I had a question, is that ok, I understand if not, I was hoping to get it fixed this week after work. Thank you a bunch for listening.

Hi Bear, we drained all of the gas out of the engine and they said it looked good, so now they are talking about putting a new fuel pump on it to see if that makes the backfire and low power go away, is that a possibility that might be the problem you think? You are the boss!

    Dear Bear,

I am a girl and I dont know much about engines, but I was wondering if you could help me because it sounds like you know more than a lot of people about Ford engines. I bought a motorhome with a 1995 Ford 7.5 460 v-8 engine in it, it has been sitting up in the winter, it is backfiring, and loosing power on hills. Friends replaced fuel filter, put gas additives, in case of water in the gas, replaced air filters, we are replacing spark plugs and wires now. It will drive so smooth for a couple of minutes, and then it will loose power like it hardly wants to go, what do you think Bear? My son is going to do compression test today, I am crying. Thank you Bear for any advice you can give me. Every guy has a different opinion on what it might be (driving me crazy) I bought it and cant even use it, thanks for any help you can give me!

man you do have some 45/70's i have tossed the idea of a H&R buffalo classic but i would like to convert it to the thumb hole stock and cut the barrel down to 26'' and add a good tactical scope so i could sight it in at different yardages just for some thing different and fun. lets see some pics nosfed359@yahoo.com
