Dak, do you have any more information on the 'magic bolt' you used to loosen the dash to get your heater core replaced? I am about to tackle that job myself and I am looking for a bit more information on getting my heater core swapped (with AC). Thanks

"You mean Red Head? I just put one in my truck... LOVE it! You won't be sorry and it won't leak like the OE does ! Get yourself a GOOD pitman arm puller.."

    Good luck!

    Dak

Hey thanks for encouragement. I have a Snap On puller set that I have used to pull pulleys, dampeners, and such would this work to pull the pitmen arm?
    Thanks,
    James

Hi, I have a 77 F250 utility truck that just had the engine rebuilt and a bunch of upgrades as well about 3 or 4 years ago.
It didn't quite pass smog and I had just aquired another truck, so I let a coworker take it to some land he has near willits, It has just been sitting under a tree all this time. I would like to give it to someone who can get it to pass smog,
Then I will be able to sell it to them for a nominal price like $100 just so it doesn't get sent to the crusher. I have no idea as to how to find someone who would go retrieve this truck and fix it. I don't think there is much wrong with it at all, and most of the critical stuff has either been rebuilt or upgraded. I am facing medical pro blems now, or I would go and retrieve it myself.
Any leads would be appreciated. Email me or PM me for more details. I haven't used this forum for a long time so I am not sure about any of this.
    Thanks!

The rims are from a company by the name of "Unique Wheel". they are Chrome and as long as I keep them waxed, they continue to shine just fine. I've had them for almost 10 years and I'm pretty happy with them. Tires are ( if I remember correctly) 235 75 R16s..
