Hi Chris, yes I try to list some useful things on the bay. Good hearing from you.
Kevin, that is UNUSUAL! I wish we had more swap meets around here. There are only 2 annually. The big one is in Portland, but the 300 mile one way trip is too far.
I was at a swap meet today and found a box of new .030 over 312 pistons for sale and the box had your return address on it! I didnt buy them but should have (pistons and rings $200) shipping date was November 2011 I think? Later, Kevin

Not too many years ago, maybe 6 or 7, there was a '46 2 ton sitting at the junction of Highway 166, and one of the North bound highways which I forget. In your part of the country anyway. I spotted it on a trip to the Ozarks. It had been in the same spot for many years by the way things looked. We moved to OR from KS, and still have most all of our family in KS. Best wishes on your restore.
Yes, I'm one with you on having a 1946. I'm located in SW Missouri. (Neosho) My dad and myself just got started on the rebuild. My pickup was originally my grandfather's. It has sat since 1964. MY father and myself were supposed to redo the pickup in the early 90's....but didn't. I finally got tired of waiting on my dad and said "bring it to my house, and lets fix it up". Hopefully it will rode-worthy this year.
