Fatfenders, wondering if you might be able to help me . I have a 54 ford pick up with a volare IFS. It was installed by Bob in Pomona, California and its notched into the frame. When I got it home I replaced the upper and lower ball joints and control bushings and have only put on 5000 miles on it. My truck feel like its bottoming out on any bumps I go over. I took it to a front end shop and he told me everything looks good under the truck. I looked at the torsion bar and sway bar bushings and they seem tight. so my question is what am I missing? any help would be most appreciated. I do have a 302 and T-5 I installed and my ride height is adjusted close to the middle of the adjustment and shocks were put in with the ball joints.

    Hi Fatfenders:

BJ Mayberry recommended that I get in touch with you. I am located in IL just north of Galesburg. He said you may have some spare 53 f100 parts, but, if not, just the ability to have someone local that has done this to ask questions would be great. If you do have parts I am looking for hood, fenders and grill for now. Just getting started so in no hurry.

    Hey Fenders,
Don't get to the board very often. Good to see your name on the board. Took some time at Christmas and got the engine built for Joey's 68 F-250. Need to get the driveshaft qualified out and installed and will have the complete driveline in place. It has been a long road but am getting things done. The goal was to get it done for the 4th of July but too many things getting in the way.
Hope all is well with you and the family.
