Bob, looking at back at some archive stuff regarding cab to bed clearance issues I am having on my restoration. New bed from MacHills. You mentioned in one of the archive threads about rubber pads between the cab and the bed. Can you provide details...part number etc?

    Thanks

Bob, do you still have that F1 rear engine crossmember? You posted a picture of it in March. Someone hacked out my rear cross to hot-rod my '51 and now I am trying to restore it. - Dave

Hi, Bob, hoping you could help me with some info. I have a 1950 F2 that I decided to switch to a flatbed. The original bed was in very poor shape. I picked up a flat bed from a guy who was using it as a flatbed trailer. It's not a Ford bed.

My question: how is the flatbed attached to the frame. appears that the metal cross members of the bed attach to wooden boards that run parallel to and sit on top of the frame rails. I saw a couple of drawings on your website but it's hard to tell. How exactly do they connect to each other? Would you have any pictures of the underside you could share? I am not going for authenticity, just want to make sure it secured OK.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
