The headlight/dimmer , and anything with the steering column. I just started removing all the parts from the dash and what I did was just slap a tape around the plug and the name for it. Don't want any confusion on this swap. Any advice before I tackle the new dash insert?

Great write up Monte! Read through the whole thing twice. I signed up solely to ask you any questions while I do my dash swap. Anyway you can send me the ford wiring diagrams you have so I can go through smooth sailing?

Hey, I have a 204 F250 6.0. I was wondering how your install of the Viper 5906v worked out from your wiring diagram that you posted.

Hey Matt! Wow it has been a while.... I've been so busy and haven't posted here in quite some time. Yes, I do have a 4 inch lift. I also added a 1 inch add-a-leaf to the rear so my truck sits a tad higher in the back. I don't know the measurement off the top of my head, but I'll measure next time I get a chance. May not be until this weekend. happy turkey day!

thanks for the info.. yes you answered perfectly. I have electric controls so I should be fine. I heard that you can drill the new steering wheel to fitment.. I will figure that one out and let folks know!

Hey Matt... super impressed with your build! Even better is the fact that you're showing folks what you did. I'm in the process of buying a '02 7.3L Excursion and I just bought a '15 F250 dash. I can details later but generically how did you get the steering wheel to fit (do i need an entire F250 steering column?) how did you get the dash to function into the truck (did you blend the old harness to the new?)
