Stu I am in the need for a rear brake drum for a F5. I was wondering if you son in Portland had any access to drums and or the rear end. Question the rear end on the motor homes you have been getting the wheels from are they also 5 lug

Stu, I just recently bought a 1953 F350. I was looking for a truck that I could cruise around town but still use for home depot runs. I stumbled upon mine on craigslist and when I saw how rust free it was I bought it, blissfully unaware of the 17" Widow Makers. In reading through tons of posts here I noticed a common denominator, your expertise on the subject. I know its a long shot, but I figured I would see if you knew of any one piece rims available? I saw you are in central IL, which is pretty close to me. I did find a tire shop close by that said they would put tires on my split rims, but I am exhausting all other possibilities first (trying to keep it as original as possible while getting it up and running again)

Chris - yeah, I posted a comment on your thread. I have the 19.5s, or I think Josh has a full set of 22.5s. Don't remember how wide his are. I texted Mark this morning and he has two 22.5 x 5.25". I also texted my buddy Jeff about a partial set he has a line on but haven't heard back from him yet. When I hear I'll let you know. My 19.5s are 6" wide and use 8r19.5" tires that will be 33.5-34" diameter. The narrowest 22.5" tire today is a 9R22.5" that will be 37.5-38". But it's technically too wide for the 5.25" wide rims of the older 22.5s. Guys use them and say they work fine, but I mention it so you can make your own decision. Stu
