    Assuming you'll say yes here is what I struggling with I have a 2009 with a 5.4L and ZF trans. From what I am told this is about the worst transmission I could have for trying to tune it. The truck is supercharged and add to that I plan in the sand dunes a lot and the transmission just doesn't know what to do. it will go back and forth between the engine lugging and red line at will. If I could find out a way to manual shift effectively I would do that but the engine continues to rev up way past after I'm made a shift. The engine is tuned with a product called HP Tuners which does not support the ZF trans with more than RPM and Torque numbers you can input.

    So I guess here is my real question, I've been told that I can't just stick a different trans in even if a manual valve body because the 5.4L expects to see inputs from the ZF TCM and I would need to change to a 5.0L with a race harness to accomplish this.

    Any thoughts you can share with me on my issue?

    I just drove it for at least 20 minutes at various speeds, everything at operating temperature. Rechecked the dipstick, definitely not more than 1/2" over the crosshatches.

    Hey Mark, I went to check my trans fluid after it sat for two hours today and it's ~ 1/2" over the crosshatch on my dipstick. It's for my '91 F150 E4OD 2WD. Funny enough I've only had fluid service done a year ago. Shortly after that I took out two quarts and added some Lucas Stop Slip, and it's been shifting and holding TCC perfect ever since. There's no coolant/oil leak getting into it, the fluid is nice and red, so it being a little over the mark is something to worry about or no?

    I tried a used ecm with no luck resolving the drive engagement issue once fully warmed up and on initial restart. I updated my previous thread again if you had a spare cycle. I do appreciate your help on this.

    Hello Mark,
    Had a very uncommon issue occurring to my early 2004 F250, well rather the 5r110 in it. I get a delayed engagement in drive but not in reverse and only when the trans fluid temp gets over 120 degrees and on initial startup. It won't re-occur once drive engages until I shut her off and turn her back on even 2 seconds later.

    I posted the full detail breakdown in the below thread.

    Your wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
