    You may be able to just elongate the holes a little for the F1 master cylinder. Although with a disc brake conversion you may need the larger master cylinder for fluid volume for the front brakes. I don't know, just thinking out load here.

    Saw your post on headlights - i need some help wiring in some relays and did buy the same lights from LMC. Where and how do you wire in the relays?

    Part 2 (cont'd)

    I used a wire wheel on it then painted it and it looks great. I installed it last night and everything went "swimmingly" until I used white lube on the latch. Then the pin was nice and free and went down past the bottom of the locating shoulders. I think that the latch assembly may be different for 1949-50. Then the hood was stuck and would not open as the larger pin would not move past the locating shoulders. Luckily the grill is 1952 so I have more room to get to the latch assembly which, of course, I had to remove to get the hood open.

    Don't you just love old trucks. I cuss the PO who I have dubbed Dr. Frank N. Stein every time I run into a problem. So not only am I learning about fat fender trucks I also am having some hard lessons regarding the differences in model years. Thank God for FTE and you guys that help out so much. I'd still be trying to figure out how to remove the water pump without you.
