IMO for the column the original shifter is close to the dash and blocks the gauges so i just got an expedition console and will be mounting up a floor shifter soon. Feel free to post in my build thread any questions or anything i am going to try and revive the dash build thread just been caught up in work so much lately that i have barely had time to work on the truck.

    did i answer your questions?

(sorry didn't fit in one post lol)

Thanks! I actually reused the original column, i removed the rear mounts on the new frame and just made a bracket with new studs for the original rear mounts. Instead i am going to run an F150 steering wheel until i can find a better way to mount the 08+ one safely in my opinion the original way i tried was kinda sketchy.

As for the harness its all original what you can do is if you have the manual A/C controls get the 05-07 F-series controls as they will mount right up to the 08+ center panel and just leave a gap which i made a filler plate for. IMO the original cluster is much easier to integrate into the new lens than trying to get the new cluster or a custom one to fit and then function correctly so i am going to cut off the back plate on the lens and mount my original cluster to it.
