    Hi Greg,

I read through your build thread and found a wealth of useful info for the restoration I'm about to start on my '50 F-1. My truck has rot around the window frame similar to what your truck had. I hadn't figured out how i was going to tackle that repair and it was my biggest concern about the restoration until I found your build thread. The result looks great. I was wondering if you could describe how you approached the repair. I believe you said in the thread you didn't use a shrinker/stretcher. thanks in advance. Ray S.

    hi Greg,
I am building a 50 Merc and planning on using a 93 Mark viii for the drive train.
I am really interested in your build and would love to ask you some questions.
It's my first build and may be getting in over my head but I want to try anyway.
Would you mind chatting through email?
    Thank you
    Drew

Did you change the ECU programming? I am going to be installing the same motor/trans into a '78 F150. I may have many questions.

Do you want to sell or trade them? They're from a 51/52. The 48-50 are smooth. The 51/52 bumpers are not being reproduced, unlike the 48-50. I have a set of original steel 48-50 bumpers in good shape.
